In 1993 Elizabeth formed the Eastbourne Choral Society.

Over the next ten years she built it up to become a major local choir.

She took her choir on three European tours (France, Switzerland and Holland).
The society performed traditional oratorio such as Elijah with Neil Jenkins and Rodney Clarke.
Combining with The Ditchling Choral Society to form a choir of 140 singers, and a young Royal Academy orchestra from London, the society performed the St Matthew Passion with soloists Neil Jenkins, Rodney Clarke and John Hancorn.
She also, to great success, occasionally staged works such as Strauss's Die Fledermaus in costume .
In 2003 she handed the baton to John Hancorn to concentrate on Trust work, and to expand her singing studio.
