In 1993 Elizabeth formed the Eastbourne Choral
Society. Over the next ten years she built it up to become a major local choir. |

She took her choir on three European tours (France, Switzerland and Holland). | ||
| The society performed traditional oratorio such as Elijah with Neil Jenkins and Rodney Clarke. | |||
| Combining with The Ditchling Choral Society to form a choir of 140 singers, and a young Royal Academy orchestra from London, the society performed the St Matthew Passion with soloists Neil Jenkins, Rodney Clarke and John Hancorn. | |||
| She also, to great success, occasionally staged works such as Strauss's Die Fledermaus in costume . | |||

In 2003 she handed the baton to John Hancorn to
concentrate on Trust work, and to expand her singing studio.
